Process Orientation                                                  

The courses conducted by Xtraplus are unique in the sense that it follows a process orientation and they will be addressing the issue of 'How to study PMBOK® Guide'  from a process standpoint. Incidentally ,though PMBOK® Guide 2000 itself is based on knowledge areas ,the PMP® examination is oriented process-wise and even in the PMBOK®  Update 2004 project of PMI®  a process orientation is being emphasized .

Contact Hours Training 

PMI®  has stipulated that 35 contact hours of training in project management are required for a person to be eligible to apply for the PMP®  exam . They have indicated that this could be obtained from various sources .One way is to attend formal training programs conducted by consultants - Xtraplus is catering to training needs in this category .  

The Program - Project Management - based on PMBOK® 2000 Guide is regularly conducted in Chennai every 2 months and covers the 35 contact hours .
